Machine Tools & Spares

Down in the MIDC area of Bhosari, specifically the S Block at Indrayani Chowk, you’ll find our little spot. We’re at W-65, surrounded by other factories and workshops. It’s a very industrial part of town, so there’s always a truck backing up or someone loading pallets nearby. Our shop is mostly filled with spares for all kinds of machine tools. We try to keep things organized, but when you have thousands of small parts, things tend to get a bit cluttered. We’ve got shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. It’s just a few of us here. We spend a lot of time looking through manuals and matching up part numbers. It’s not the kind of work that makes you famous, but it's necessary for the factories around here to keep their lines moving. The lighting isn't the best, and the office chair has a squeak that we never bothered to fix. We get people coming in with broken parts in their hands, hoping we have the replacement sitting in a bin somewhere. Most of the time, we do. It’s a practical business. We don't do much talking unless it’s about the specs of a gear or a bearing. We drink a lot of tea and wait for the courier trucks to arrive. It’s just how things work in Bhosari. We stay until the work is finished, then lock up and head home to our families.
