Maa Bhagwati Public School

Our school, Maa Bhagwati Public School, is located in Row House 1 and 2 of Gulmohar Galaxy. This is in Viman Nagar, which is a fairly busy part of Pune, especially near the 411014 area. Using row houses for a school gives it a bit of a different feel than a regular institutional building. It feels more like a home, which is nice for the younger kids who come here. We have converted the rooms into classrooms and small play areas. Since we are in a residential complex like Gulmohar Galaxy, we have to be mindful of our neighbors, but everyone is used to the sound of children by now. The mornings are the busiest when the parents drop their kids off at the row house entrance. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us teachers and a few helpers keeping things running. There is always a lot of stuff around, like charts on the walls and toys in the corners. It’s not a perfect, polished place, but it’s where we do our work every day. Viman Nagar is a fast-paced area, but inside the row houses, we try to keep a steady routine for the students. Most people who live nearby know us just by seeing the kids out front. It’s a small, local operation, and we like it that way.
