Let'S Talk

Let'S Talk is tucked away in Shop No 2, right below the Dhanwantri Hospital. It’s part of the Ujjwal Premises on Shivaji Road in the Dahanhar Wadi part of Baner. Having a hospital right above us makes for a lot of foot traffic all through the day. You see all sorts of people walking past the window. Some are in a hurry, others are just waiting around for their appointments. Baner has changed a lot lately with new buildings, but this little corner stays pretty much the same. The shop gets a bit of shade because of the building structure, which is nice when the Pune heat starts picking up in March. We usually start the day early, sweeping the front and getting the lights on. It’s not a very big space, but we’ve managed to organize it so we can find things easily. The street noise from Shivaji Road is always there in the background, like a constant hum. We’ve gotten used to it by now. Sometimes the parking out front gets a bit tight with all the bikes and cars, especially in the afternoons. It's just a simple place where we spend most of our hours. We don't have any big signs or anything too loud. People usually find us because they’re already in the area for the hospital or living nearby in the wadi. It's a steady life here, just keeping the shop running and talking to whoever comes through the door.
