We have been running our shop here at Shop No 2 on Ganesh Path for quite some time now. It is a busy spot in Pune, and most people around here know us for the kitchen items we keep. We have stacks of plates, bowls, and all sorts of cups piled up on the shelves. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside when new stock arrives because there is only so much room in the shop. We spend most of our mornings unpacking crates and checking if anything got chipped during the ride over. It is honest work and we see a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood. Some folks come in looking for a single replacement saucer while others are setting up a whole new kitchen. We just show them what we have on the racks. The tea sets are usually towards the back and the heavy stainless steel items are near the front. It can get dusty with all the traffic outside on Ganesh Path, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass displays. We don't really do anything fancy here, just sell crockery to people who need it. My brother helps with the accounts and I usually handle the customers who walk in. If we don't have something in stock, we try to tell people when the next delivery truck might show up. It is a simple business and we like it that way.
