Laxmi Crockery Pune Private Limited

Our shop is down in Ganesh Peth, right near the Burdi Pool and the Gurunanak High School. It is a busy part of Pune, and Laxmi Crockery Pune Private Limited has been sitting at No. 2 for quite some time now. When you walk in, you will see stacks of plates and cups almost everywhere. We try to keep things organized, but when a new shipment of ceramic bowls or glass sets comes in, it gets very crowded. It is a lot of work unwrapping all that newspaper and checking for any cracks or chips. I spend most of my day making sure nothing gets knocked over by accident. We get a lot of families coming in who need a whole new set for a wedding or just a few replacement mugs because they broke theirs at home. The noise from the school nearby is quite loud in the afternoons when the kids are leaving, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We use an old ledger to write down what we sell every day. It is more of a traditional way of doing things, but it works fine for us. My uncle used to run this place, and he taught me how to tell the difference between good quality and the cheap stuff just by the sound it makes when you tap it. We don't have a big sign, just the name on the front. It's a simple, honest shop.
