Kujidah Higher Secondary School

If you are around Kamothe in Navi Mumbai, you can find Kujidah Higher Secondary School over at Patel Plaza. We are in Shop No 17 on Plot No 2. The 410206 area is always moving, and being in a plaza means there is always something going on around us. This isn't a massive campus with a stadium or anything. We use the shop spaces for our classrooms. It works for us and the students seem to get along just fine with the setup. Since it is a higher secondary school, the kids are a bit older and they take their studies a little more seriously, or at least they try to. You’ll see them hanging out near the entrance of Patel Plaza during their lunch breaks or after classes are over for the day. The rooms are filled with desks and chalkboards, and it gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so the fans are always going full blast. Being in Kamothe means we get a mix of families from all over the neighborhood. We’ve been part of this little corner for some time now. It’s a very local operation. We don't spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. People just know us from word of mouth or by walking past the shop on Plot No 2. It’s just a plain, honest school where teenagers come to finish their higher secondary years before moving on to college or work. It is what it is.
