Krishna Marbles

Our shop is tucked into No 43/3A over in the Parasar Housing Society. Being in Chandan Nagar, specifically near the Nagar Road and the Hadapsar Bypass, means there is always a lot of noise and movement outside our gate. We are also quite close to Balaji Hospital, so that is usually the easiest landmark to give people if they are trying to find us for the first time. We handle a lot of different marble pieces every day. It is not exactly a glamorous job, just moving heavy stone from one side of the lot to the other so we can find what a customer needs. Most of our day is spent talking to people who are building their houses or maybe just fixing up a small kitchen. We show them what is sitting on the racks at the moment. It involves a lot of walking back and forth under the sun. It gets quite hot out here on the pavement, so we try to get the heaviest moving done early in the morning before it peaks. People from the housing society pop in often just to ask questions or see what's new. We do not mind the company. It is just a regular local business. We have been here long enough that we know all the shortcuts around the bypass. The stones we get come in all sorts of colors and sizes. We just keep them stacked up and ready. It is a simple enough setup for us.
