Krishna Clinic

If you know where Dhnyaneshwari Mangal Karyalay is in Kalewadi Camp, then you basically know where we are. We are just near there, in the Cantonment area. It’s a busy spot, especially when there are weddings or events at the hall next door. The clinic itself is fairly modest. We have a small waiting room that fills up quickly in the evenings after people get off work. We see a lot of families from the camp and the surrounding neighborhood. It’s a lot of routine checkups and common illnesses. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and we have a small cabinet for medicines. Sometimes the street noise gets a bit much, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just the sound of the fan and people talking quietly. We don’t have an appointment system that’s very strict, so people just show up and wait their turn. It’s more relaxed that way. We know most of our patients by their faces if not their names. It’s been this way for years. The floor is tile and we try to keep it mopped between patients. We are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. It’s a steady pace. No one is rushing you out the door, but we do try to keep things moving so the wait isn't too long. Just a normal local clinic doing its thing every day.
