We are tucked away in B2/7 of the New Friends Society on Paud Road in Kothrud. It is a residential area, so it is actually quite a nice place to work from. Our office is basically a room full of desks and computers. You won’t find any bean bags or ping-pong tables here. We just sit down and get to coding or fixing websites or whatever else is on the list for that day. The internet connection is the most important thing in the office, and we get pretty annoyed when it flickers. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going. Sometimes we work late when a project is due, and the street outside gets really quiet. It is just a small group of us who know a lot about computers. We do not wear suits or have big meetings in boardrooms. We just talk across the desks. Being in Kothrud is great because there are good places to grab a quick snack nearby. Our space is functional and a bit cramped with all the cables running everywhere, but it works for us. We have been here for a few years now and have a steady routine. We are not trying to change the world; we just want to make sure the software we work on does what it is supposed to do. It is simple, honest work in a quiet corner of the city.
