Kohinoor Marble

If you drive down the Pune Nagar Road, you will find us at Koregaon Bhima. We are at Gut No. 542. It’s a pretty busy stretch of road, so there is always traffic passing by. We have been here at this spot for quite a bit of time now. The yard is full of marble slabs we’ve brought in. It’s not a polished environment, just a workspace where we get things done. We usually have a lot of different pieces sitting out so people can see the patterns. It can get pretty hot out here during the summer, but we keep working through it. People from Pune and the surrounding villages come by when they are doing up their floors. We don’t go in for fancy advertising or anything like that. Usually, people find us just by driving past or hearing from a neighbor. The marble comes in big batches and we spend a lot of time sorting through it all. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving those heavy pieces around day after day. We like being in Koregaon Bhima because it’s central for the transport trucks coming through. We don't have a big corporate structure, just a few people making sure the orders go out correctly. Stop by if you are on the Pune Nagar Road and want to look at some stone. We are generally around most days unless we are out on a delivery.
