Kn Spices Llp

We are over at Kn Spices Llp in the Kharadi area. Our spot is in the Acolade building, specifically flat 204 on the second floor of the B2 wing. It’s a residential-style setup which actually works quite well for us because it stays quiet. If you know SNO.25/1A or 26/1, that’s exactly where we are located. Spices are a tricky business. You have to get the sourcing right or the whole thing falls apart. We spend a lot of time checking samples and talking to farmers about the latest harvest. It’s dusty work sometimes, and the smell of cardamom or cumin is always stuck in our clothes. People in the building probably know when we’ve opened a fresh bag of pepper. We didn’t start this with some grand vision. It was just a way to bring better ingredients to the local markets around Pune. My uncle used to do this years ago, so we just kept the tradition going in a way. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some desks and lots of jars. We drink way too much coffee while looking at spreadsheets. It gets hectic around the festival seasons when everyone wants their orders at once. But we manage. Most of the time it’s just us trying to stay organized and making sure the quality doesn't drop. It's an honest living and we're glad to be doing it here in Kharadi.
