Kitchan Gallery

Out here in Sangavi, specifically on the 14th Cross and 5th Main, you will find Kitchan Gallery. It’s at number 5. The area is mostly residential, so we see a lot of families coming in. We keep a lot of kitchen stuff packed into this space. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to walk between the stacks of boxes. We spend a lot of our day unboxing things and putting them on the shelves. People come in looking for specific parts or new sets for their homes. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just us handling everything from cleaning the floor to doing the bills. The 5th Main can get a bit confusing for delivery drivers, so we often have to stand outside and wave them down. It’s not a shiny showroom like you see in the city center. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the desk is cluttered with old notebooks. We just focus on getting the right items to the people who live nearby. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when the weekend crowd arrives. We try to keep things simple and honest. If we don’t have something, we just say so. There’s no point in making things complicated for the neighbors. We’ve been here a while and plan to stay at this spot for many more years to come.
