Kidz King

Our shop, Kidz King, is at 518 Jumma Masjid Road in the Camp area. If you know this part of town, you know it's always packed with people. The road gets very busy, especially on Fridays because of the mosque nearby. We've been here for years. The shop itself is packed with clothes for children of all ages. We try to fit as much as possible on the racks, so it can feel a bit tight when there are more than a few people inside. There’s always stuff to do, like unpacking new boxes or helping parents figure out what size their kid actually is. It’s never a dull moment. The noise from the street is something you just get used to after a week of working here. We don't have a big marketing team or any of that. It's just us running the place. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy, but we usually know where to find things in the end. We're not trying to be the fanciest store in Camp. We just provide clothes for families who live around here or travel in for the market. The shop sign is a bit old now, but people still recognize it when they walk by. We open early because the morning market is quite active. By the end of the day, the floor is usually covered in dust, so we clean up before heading home. That's just how life goes here.
