Kgn Mutton Shop

Kgn Mutton Shop is located over in Pimpri, specifically on Dr. V. B. Gandhi Road in the Siddharth Nagar area. It’s right there on the way to Jagtap Dairy Road, so there is always a lot of traffic passing by. Our day-to-day life is centered around the shop. We get in early to prepare the meat. It’s a lot of manual labor, using the heavy knives and making sure the cuts are what people expect. The shop is a basic room with white tiles and a sturdy chopping block. It gets quite loud because of the road noise outside and the sound of our work inside. Siddharth Nagar is a busy residential pocket, so we get a lot of local families coming in. We don’t really use any complicated machines; it’s all done by hand here. Sometimes the floor gets slippery, so we are always washing it down with water. It’s a constant cycle of cutting, cleaning, and serving. We don’t have a website or anything like that. If people want mutton, they just know where to find us on Dr. V. B. Gandhi Road. We’ve seen the roads around Jagtap Dairy get wider and the traffic get heavier over the years, but the shop stays the same. We just keep doing what we know how to do. It’s a straightforward life, and we are fine with that. There's no point in making things more complicated than they need to be.
