Karnawat Steel and Cements LLP is located over on Wada Road. If you know where the big water tank is in Rajgurunagar, we are right near that spot. Our building is called Happy Home, but it’s mostly just our warehouse and a small office space at Surve No. 10/1/1. Khed is a busy part of the Pune district, and there’s always some new building going up nearby. We deal with a lot of steel and cement, as you can probably guess from the name. My father was the one who started this whole thing years ago, and we eventually turned it into an LLP. It involved a lot of paperwork that I didn't really enjoy doing. Most days, the yard is completely full of heavy bags and rusted rebar. It gets pretty noisy in the mornings when the trucks are loading up. I usually get here around 8 am to unlock the gates. The cement dust is the worst part, it gets into every corner of the office no matter how much we sweep. We try our best to keep things tidy, but it's a bit of a losing battle in this trade. The neighbors are mostly other local businesses, and we all get along well enough. The Pune heat is no joke in the summer, especially under the warehouse roof. We have a small desk fan that barely does anything, but we’re used to it. We just sell the basics people need.
