You can find us on Kanjur Village Road in the Sasane Nagar area of Pune, right near Hotel Garva. Trinity College of Engineering and Research is part of the K J Educational Institutes. It's a busy spot most days. Pune is known for education, and we’re just one of the many places here trying to train future engineers. The labs are the most important part of the building. They’re filled with equipment and usually smell a bit like oil or solder when projects are going on. We keep the machines running as best as we can. The building itself is quite large, but it always feels full of people. We have a lot of stairs to climb every day to get to the upper labs. The staff spends a lot of time in meetings or grading piles of papers. It’s a lot of technical work. Students are always worried about their projects and where they will get jobs. We try to keep the atmosphere calm, but engineering is a tough subject. Sometimes the canteen runs out of the good snacks by lunchtime, which is a bit of a tragedy. We have a mix of local students and those who move here for the climate. It’s a bit of a trek from the main railway station, but there are plenty of buses that stop nearby. We just do our thing, keep the labs open, and make sure the students are learning how things work.
