K G N Mutton Shop

We run K G N Mutton Shop over at Vyankatesh Krupa Society in Viman Nagar. The shop is at Sr No 56, right where the road curves. We get our stock very early in the morning, usually while most people are still sleeping. The first thing we do is clean the whole place from top to bottom. It’s hard work and your back starts to ache after a few hours of standing. We have heavy wooden blocks for cutting and the knives are sharpened every single day. People around here know us for being reliable. We don't have a fancy storefront, just the basics needed to do the job right. My brothers and I work together to serve the customers who come from all over Viman Nagar. Some people are very specific about how they want their meat cut, and we try to do it exactly how they ask. It gets very busy on Sundays, with people lining up outside before we even open the shutters. The rest of the week is more relaxed. We have a small sink in the back for washing up and a heavy scale on the counter. We don't use computers or anything, just a notebook to keep track of things. It’s a simple, honest business. The neighborhood is quiet mostly, except for when the planes go over from the airport nearby. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. The door hinge squeaks a bit but we haven't fixed it yet.
