Jr College Laxmanrao Apte Prashala

The Jr College Laxmanrao Apte Prashala is tucked away in Sakalnagar, which is just off Baner Road in Pune. We are specifically located at 6 B, Giridarshan, which is part of the housing society there. It’s a bit of a unique spot for a college setup because it’s so integrated into the residential community of Pune 7. You’ll find us surrounded by trees and the usual coming and going of people who live in the Giridarshan society. It doesn't look like those massive, gated campuses you might expect. Instead, it’s a place that feels like it’s part of the neighborhood. The rooms are often filled with the sound of students and the general activity of a learning environment. We’ve been operating from this Sakalnagar location for quite some time, and the locals are used to seeing the students around. There’s a certain charm to being in a housing society—it’s less formal and more grounded. We don't have a giant marble lobby or anything like that. We have our classrooms and our staff space, and we focus on the daily schedule. Things can get a bit hectic during exams or when the new term starts, but we manage just fine in our corner of Baner Road. It’s a practical, straightforward place where education happens without a lot of unnecessary fuss or fancy trimmings. We just do our best with the space we have.
