Jogeshwari Clinic

Jogeshwari Clinic is tucked away in Shop number 1 of the Samata CHS building. If you know where the Swad Hotel is in Sector 13 of Khanda Colony, then you’ve probably seen us right across the street. We aren't a big hospital, just a local clinic that handles the usual aches, pains, and fevers that come with living in a busy area. The space is a bit small, so when there are more than three or four people waiting, it starts to feel crowded. We have a few chairs and some old magazines, but mostly people just wait their turn and talk to each other. The clinic has been part of Khanda Colony for a good while. The doctor and the assistant know many of the patients by their first names because they have been coming here for years. It isn't the kind of place with shiny floors or high-tech screens everywhere. It is more about sitting down and talking about what is wrong. Sometimes the door gets stuck if it’s humid outside, but we just give it a good push. We try to keep regular hours, but once in a while, we stay open a little late if there is someone who really needs to be seen. It’s a modest setup but it serves the purpose for the people living in Samata and the surrounding buildings. We are just a local spot for basic health needs, nothing more than that.
