Our shop is tucked away in Shukrawar Peth at number 96 on 1st Carpenter Street. Most folks find us by looking for the Mandai Ganpati temple and then heading around the back to where we are in Bilwa-Jyoti. It’s a busy little area and things can get quite loud with the traffic outside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We handle all sorts of electronics here. If someone has a gadget that’s stopped working, they usually bring it in and we take a look to see if it’s a simple fix or if we need to track down a specific part. The workbench is almost always covered in wires and tools, which is just the way it goes when you’re busy. We aren't a big fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a practical space where we focus on getting things working again. We open up the shutters pretty early and usually stay until the evening rush starts to die down. Sometimes we’re just chatting with neighbors who pop in for a fuse or a small bulb. The shelves are packed with components we’ve gathered over time, so you have to watch where you step when we have new stock coming in. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out. We like the routine and being part of the local market life here in the Peth.
