We are located out at Sr No 129, Plot No 31. The main landmark near us is the Dhavleshor Mandir. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but it’s where we have the space we need for the fishery. Being near the temple gives the place a bit of a calm feeling in the early mornings. We deal with fish, so our day usually starts way before the sun comes up. There is a lot of water involved, and things can get quite messy and wet around the yard. We wear rubber boots and don't worry too much about getting our clothes dirty while we work. It’s hard work, pulling nets and checking the tanks regularly. We aren't trying to sound like some high-tech firm with a bunch of jargon. We are just people who know a lot about fish. The site is practical and built for the job. Sometimes the smell is quite strong, especially on hot days, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning; we spend most of our time outside or in the sheds. It’s a very hands-on business for everyone involved. We focus on keeping the fish healthy and getting them to the market on time. It’s a simple life, following the seasons and the weather.
