Jai Shree Provision Store

Our store is located in the Pune 5 area. It’s a small place called Jai Shree Provision Store. We don't have a huge amount of space, so we have to be clever about how we stack the goods. We sell the usual things people need for their daily lives. You’ll find different brands of tea, bags of sugar, cooking oil, and plenty of snacks. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling. I often have to use a small ladder to reach the things at the top. It’s a neighborhood shop, so we know just about everyone who walks through the door. We see the same people every morning for their milk or eggs. In the afternoons, it gets a bit quiet and I usually sit by the entrance and watch the street. Pune 5 can be a busy area, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We don't have any flashy lights or big posters. Just a simple board outside with the name of the shop. Sometimes the delivery guys are late and we have to wait around, but that’s just part of the business. We try to keep the prices fair and the stock fresh. If someone is short a few rupees, we just tell them to pay next time. It’s that kind of place. We’ve been here for years, and we plan to stay right where we are. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living and stay connected to the community.
