Institute For Education Training Research

Our office is over at 111/1052 in Gokhale Nagar. It is a solid brick building that has seen a lot of people come and go over the years. At the Institute For Education Training Research, we focus on the stuff that happens behind the scenes in schools and training centers. It isn't always exciting work, mostly looking at papers and writing down observations about how people learn. We have a small library of sorts in one room, though it’s mostly just shelves of old journals and training manuals that we’ve collected. The floor is that old-fashioned stone that stays cool in the summer, which is nice. We spend a lot of time talking to teachers and people who want to get into the education field. Gokhale Nagar is a decent place to be based, even if parking can be a bit of a headache on some days. We keep a regular schedule, starting around nine and heading home when the sun starts to go down. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it stays fairly quiet during the work hours. Sometimes we have meetings that go on for too long, and we end up just ordering some food from the corner stall. It’s a simple operation here. We don’t have fancy furniture, just some sturdy tables and chairs that do the job. If you come by, you might find us buried under a pile of folders. The windows are a bit stiff to open, but we like the fresh air when it’s not too dusty. It’s a simple, quiet place.
