Om Sai Roses

You will find our place out by the Talegaon Chakan Bypass, specifically in the Induri Maval area. It is a bit of a drive from the main city centers, but that is where you have to be if you are working with roses like we do. We spend most of our time out in the fields or in the sheds where we sort the flowers. It is physical work, and our hands usually have a few scratches from the thorns, but that is just part of the job. We grow roses and get them ready to be sent out to markets and shops. The weather is a big factor for us, so we are always looking at the sky and worrying about the rain or the heat. We are not some big agricultural giant; we are just a local group trying to get the flowers to look right before they go. The bypass road is always busy with trucks, so there is a lot of noise, but once you get into the fields, it is a lot quieter. We do not have a fancy office. Most of our paperwork is done on a small desk in the corner of the packing shed. People come by and pick up bundles of roses for events or just to sell. We do not do anything flashy with the branding. We just focus on keeping the plants healthy. It is a long day, but we like the work.
