Icfai Foundation

Our office is in the Aakashdeep Housing Society, located in Bhosale Nagar, Pune. We are on the second floor in Flat 5A. Being in Bhosale Nagar is nice because it’s a relatively quiet part of the city with plenty of trees around. We are an educational foundation, but our office doesn't look like a big institution. It’s just a regular flat that we’ve filled with desks, books, and heaps of paperwork. We spend most of our time talking to students and coordinating different programs. It’s a very hands-on job. There isn't any corporate polish here. We have stacks of forms on the tables and a tea kettle that’s almost always on. The lift in the building can be a bit moody, so we often end up taking the stairs. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and have a very set routine. Our team is small, so we all know each other well and help out with whatever needs doing, whether it’s answering the phone or filing documents. We don't have any big mission statements or marketing slogans. We just try to be helpful to whoever reaches out to us. It’s a practical, everyday sort of place. We just focus on keeping the administration running smoothly and making sure the students get the information they need. It’s honest, simple work in a comfortable, local setting.
