We’ve been working out of this spot in Akurdi for a while now. It’s Flat No; 21 over in Sector 29, right in the Karmashetra area of Nigdi Pradhikaran. Most people around here know the Pune 411 035 area pretty well. Dealing with construction equipment means there is always a lot going on. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the paperwork done and talk to people about the machines they need for their jobs. Sometimes the traffic around Nigdi gets a bit much, but being here makes it easy for folks to find us. We deal with all sorts of heavy machinery under the Hyundai name. It's mostly just day-to-day stuff, answering phones and making sure the gear gets to where it’s supposed to go. If you are looking for the office, we are right there in the residential-looking block. It feels more like a neighborhood place than a big corporate office. We try to keep things simple. The weather in Pune is usually alright, though it gets dusty with all the construction happening nearby. We just focus on the equipment and helping out whoever stops by. It’s a busy life but we like being part of the local scene here in Akurdi. Nothing too complicated about how we run things, just a small team working out of this flat. People sometimes miss the entrance, so you have to look for the sector 29 signs. We spend most of our time chatting with site supervisors and mechanics who know their way around an excavator. It keeps us on our toes.
