Harsiddh Marble & Granite Industries

Harsiddh Marble & Granite Industries is located at 484, near the Gota Highway Char Rasta. We’re right opposite the Gurunanak Hotel, which is a big landmark for anyone driving through Gota. Being near the highway means there is always a lot of dust and the sound of big trucks passing by. Our yard is filled with big slabs of marble and granite leaning against each other. It’s heavy work, moving these stones around and cutting them to size. You’ll see us out there in the yard most of the day, usually covered in a bit of white stone dust. We don’t have a fancy air-conditioned office; we mostly just have a small cabin where we sit with customers and look at samples. The stones come in all different colors and patterns, and they take up a lot of space. It’s a simple operation where we mostly just look at the material. We’ve been at this Gota location for years, and the highway traffic has only gotten busier. It’s not a glamorous job, especially when it’s hot outside and you’re working with heavy stone all day. But we like seeing the different textures of the granite and how the marble looks once it's cleaned up. It's just a regular yard where we do the work and try to keep things organized. People stop by on their way somewhere else, and we just show them what we have on hand.
