Harshas Dance Class

If you go down to Pimpri Colony, you will find us in Shivam Society over in Sector 27 of Gandhinagar 1. Harshas Dance Class is not a big, fancy studio with professional lighting and huge mirrors everywhere. It is basically just a room where we get together to learn some moves and have a bit of fun with music. We have been here for a while, and most of the kids from the nearby houses come by in the evenings after their school is done. It can get a bit loud, especially when we are practicing for a local festival, but the neighbors are generally okay with it. Harsha started this because she loved dancing and people kept asking her to teach them. We do not do those big TV competitions or anything. It is more about just learning the steps and getting better week by week. The floor has a few scratches from all the feet jumping around, but that just shows how much work we put in. During the summer, it gets quite stuffy, but we keep the fans going and just keep moving. We are not trying to be the most famous school in the country. We just want to give people in Gandhinagar a place to enjoy themselves. It is a very simple operation. You come in, you dance, and you leave feeling a little bit better than when you arrived.
