You can find Harekar Bandhu General Stores over in the BWSSB Colony on Pipeline Road. We’re tucked away in the Chikkagollarahatti area, near Vishwaneedam Post. It’s a quiet enough spot most of the time, away from the main rush. We started this shop because the people living around here needed a place nearby to get their daily essentials without traveling too far. The shop isn't huge, but we pack in what we can. From soaps to snacks and the basic pantry stuff, it’s all sitting there on the wooden shelves. We’ve been here at number 15 for quite a while now. Some days it’s just the neighbors coming in to chat while they pick up their milk or sugar. We like the slow pace of the colony. It gives us time to keep the place tidy and maybe sit for a tea when the sun is high. Sometimes the deliveries take a while to reach us out here, but we manage. My family helps out behind the counter when things get a little busier in the evenings. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything. People just know we’re here by word of mouth. It’s a simple life running a small store like this. We just want to make sure the locals have what they need close by. It’s been our daily routine for years and we’re used to it.
