Hagglunds Drives (India) Pvt. Ltd. is based in the Hadapsar Industrial Estate, specifically occupying units 18/4 and 19/4. Being in Hadapsar means we are right in the heart of the manufacturing hub. It’s a place where things are actually made, and you can feel that energy when you walk around the estate. Our units are large enough to house the heavy drive systems we deal with. It’s a lot of metal and machinery. The air usually smells a bit like oil and old metal, which is something you just stop noticing after a few days on the job. We have a solid team here. Some of the guys have been working with these drives for decades. We don't really have a front desk person; if someone walks in, whoever is closest to the door just wipes their hands and says hello. The paperwork happens in a small partitioned area, but the real work is out on the floor. We have our routines, like the tea break at four o'clock. It’s a time to sit on the crates and just relax for ten minutes. The units 18/4 and 19/4 are old but they are sturdy. We've seen the estate change over the years as new companies move in and old ones leave, but we just keep doing our thing here. It’s a simple, hardworking life, and we don't feel the need to dress it up.
