Govind Foundry Works

Our place, Govind Foundry Works, is located at J-24 in the Bhosari Industrial Estate. We are right on Cambridge Road in the MIDC area. If you’ve ever been down this way, you know it’s full of smoke, noise, and heavy work. Our foundry is no different. It’s a hot and gritty environment where we deal with metal casting every day. We’ve been part of the Bhosari industrial scene for quite a while now. The building is an older industrial structure, and it shows its age, but it’s sturdy. We don't bother with fancy offices or air conditioning in the main work areas because it wouldn't make much sense. Our team consists of guys who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. We spend most of our time around the furnaces and the molds. It is heavy, physical work and it keeps us pretty tired by the end of the shift. The road outside always has trucks coming and going, delivering scrap or picking up finished parts. We don't have a marketing department or a salesperson. Most of our work comes from the same factories we’ve been dealing with for years. We just focus on getting the pours right and making sure the castings are solid. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We usually finish up late and get ready to do it all over again tomorrow.
