Gayatri Pharma

We’ve been running Gayatri Pharma out of Kunal Plaza for a good while now. It’s right near Chinchwad Station, so there’s always people passing by on their way to or from work. Shop number 37 isn’t a huge space, but we try to keep it organized so we can find what folks need quickly. Dealing with medicine means we have to stay on our toes. People come in with prescriptions, or sometimes they just need something basic like bandages or cough drops. It gets busy in the evenings when the station area gets crowded. We just focus on getting through the day and making sure the inventory is right. The shelves are usually full because you never know what someone might ask for. It's a lot of standing around and checking boxes. Pimpri is a busy spot, and Mahatma Gandhi Road is always noisy with traffic. We’ve grown used to the sounds outside. Some days are slow, but mostly we are just keeping the shop open and helping whoever walks through the door. It’s just us here, making sure the medicines are stored properly and the dates are checked. Nothing fancy about it. We just open up every morning, wipe down the counters, and start the day. Being in this part of Chinchwad means we see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood. It’s a decent living and keeps us involved in the community.
