Emcure Pharmaceutical

We are Emcure Pharmaceutical and we operate out of the Rajiv Gandhi IT Park in Hinjewadi. Specifically we are in Phase 1 near the HDFC Bank at number 255/2. Working in the IT park is a bit different than a regular street shop because there are so many big buildings and office workers everywhere. Our facility here handles a lot of the logistical side of things for the company. It’s a busy environment with people constantly moving around and trucks coming in and out. We aren't a retail shop where you can just walk in and buy a strip of pills. We are more focused on the manufacturing and distribution side of the industry. The team here is quite large and we all have our specific roles to play in the warehouse or the office area. Since we are right in the MIDC area we are surrounded by other big companies too. It can get quite noisy during the day with all the construction and traffic in Hinjewadi. We spend most of our hours making sure the pharmaceutical supplies are moving to where they need to go. It’s not an easy job and there is a lot of paperwork involved. We don’t really talk about being the best or anything like that. We just come in do our shifts and make sure the work gets done correctly so that the medicines reach the people who need them.
