Florida International University

We are located at a place called Susampada, which is at 639/11 in the Savantpur Vasahat area. This is in Kirloskar Wadi. Even though the name on the door says Florida International University, we are right here in this local neighborhood. It’s a bit of a quiet spot, away from the main noise of the bigger cities. The building is simple, just like the others around it. We have a lot of space for what we need to do. Most of the people around here are locals who have lived in Savantpur Vasahat for years. We see them walking by every day while we are at our desks. Kirloskar Wadi has a specific pace of life, and we definitely feel that here. Our work involves a lot of reading, writing, and staying in touch with people far away. It’s a strange mix, being in such a local, traditional spot while dealing with something that sounds so international. The office has basic furniture and a few shelves for books and papers. The walls are painted a light color that’s started to peel a little in the corners. We don't mind it. It feels real. On hot days, we keep the fans going and maybe open the windows to catch a breeze from the open fields nearby. It’s a straightforward existence here at 639/11. We just show up and do our jobs. There isn't much more to it than that, really.
