Fergusson College

Fergusson College is a well-known landmark on F.C. Road in Pune. We are located at the heart of the city in Maharashtra, with the 411004 pin code. The campus has a lot of history, and the stone buildings have been around for a very long time. It’s a huge place compared to some of the newer colleges, and walking from one end to the other can take a bit of time. We have a lot of trees and open spaces, which is nice since F.C. Road is always so crowded and loud with traffic. Students are everywhere, sitting on the steps or hanging out near the gates. We don't really need to promote ourselves because everyone in Pune knows where Fergusson is. The office staff handles a massive amount of paperwork every semester, and sometimes the queues can get pretty long. It’s an old-school way of doing things, but it’s what we know. The classrooms are high-ceilinged and can get a bit drafty, but they have a certain feel to them. We are just a regular part of the educational landscape here. People come here for the courses, but also just for the atmosphere of the old campus. We keep the grounds as tidy as we can, though it’s a constant job with so many people moving through every day. It’s a busy, functional college right in the middle of Pune.
