Excel Enclosures

Our place, Excel Enclosures, is located at 1567 Chikhlee on the Dehu Alandi Road. We’re in the Shelar Vasti area, right near the old oil mill. It’s an industrial part of town, which suits the kind of work we do. We mostly make metal boxes and cabinets for electrical systems. There’s a lot of cutting, bending, and welding going on throughout the day. The shop floor is usually loud and there’s always a bit of a smell of metal and paint in the air. We aren't a big factory with automated lines; it’s more about manual work and checking things by hand. Most of us have been working with sheet metal for years. We don’t have a big office for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the floor with a tape measure. We don’t use any fancy marketing words. We just make sure the enclosures are sturdy and fit the specifications. Sometimes the weather makes the shop really hot, so we take breaks in the shade outside. The oil mill is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. We’ve been at this location for a good while, and we’ve gotten to know the other shop owners nearby. It’s a hardworking neighborhood, and we fit right in. We just take it one day at a time, making sure each order is finished properly before it leaves the door. It’s not a glamorous job, but we enjoy seeing the finished products.
