We are located over at Hinjewadi in the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Phase II. Emerson Climate Technologies (india) Pvt.Ltd sits on Plot No.23. It’s a big area, and there are a lot of tech companies around here, but we focus on the climate and cooling side of things. The building is modern, but inside we are just regular people working on technical drawings and equipment specs. It’s not all sleek glass and silence; there is plenty of talking and the sound of people moving gear around. We spend a lot of time looking at how systems work and trying to make sure everything is efficient. Working in Phase II means we deal with the commute and the crowds like everyone else in the IT park. We have a cafeteria where we grab tea, and that’s usually where the best conversations happen about the projects we are on. We don't really go for the corporate talk about changing the world. We just want the machines we work on to run properly and keep things at the right temperature for whoever is using them. It’s technical work that requires a lot of focus, so most of us stay pretty quiet during the main part of the day. It’s a solid place to work, and we just keep our heads down and do the engineering and support work needed. The office is busy but we make it through the day.
