Our office for EMERSON CLIMATE TECHNOLOGIES (INDIA) PVT. LTD. is at 23 Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park. We are in Phase II, out in Hinjewadi. It’s a huge area filled with tech companies and big glass buildings. To be honest, the commute out here can be a real pain because of the traffic on the highway, but once you’re inside the park, it’s a bit more organized. Our building is modern, but inside the office, it’s just like any other place where people work hard. We have rows of cubicles, a lot of computers, and some meeting rooms that are always booked. We work on climate technologies, which is important, but the day-to-day is mostly emails, spreadsheets, and technical discussions. The Hinjewadi area has changed a lot. It used to be much quieter, but now it’s full of food courts and shuttle buses. We usually eat our lunch in the breakroom or go out to one of the nearby stalls if the weather isn't too hot. There’s a lot of security to get through at the gates, which can be annoying when you’re running late. The office itself is clean and well-lit, but it doesn't have much of a personal touch. We just focus on our specific tasks and try to keep things running smoothly. It’s a very professional environment, though we try to keep things friendly among the team. It’s just a regular part of the tech industry life in Pune.
