Dy Patil College

Our college is located out in Ambi, which is a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main part of Pune. You can find us at S.No 124 and 126 along the road there. It’s a quiet area compared to the city center, which is nice when you want to get some work done without all the honking and shouting. Dy Patil College has been part of the landscape here for a while now. The buildings are spread out, and there is usually a lot of walking involved to get from one side to the other. In the rainy season, everything gets really green around the campus, but the mud can be a bit of a problem on the paths. We have students coming in from all over the Talegaon Dabhade area and further away too. It is not some high-tech futuristic place, just a regular college with desks, blackboards, and a lot of books. The staff here are mostly local people who know the rhythm of the place. We spend our lunch breaks talking about the weather or what’s happening in the village nearby. It’s a practical kind of environment where we just focus on the classes and making sure the students have what they need for the day. Nothing too complicated goes on here, and we like it that way. It feels like a real community out here in the Maharashtra countryside.
