Durva Clinic

You can find Durva Clinic at number 4 and 5, right across the road from Mai Mangeshkar Hospital. We are in a small row of shops and offices. Because we are so close to the big hospital, we see a lot of people who are looking for something smaller and more direct. The clinic is just two rooms joined together. It’s a bit cramped when it gets busy, but we make it work. We have a few chairs for people to sit on while they wait their turn. The noise from the main road comes in whenever someone opens the door. We don't have a big staff, usually just one or two of us handling the front and the back. It’s a humble place. We don't use any fancy technology for our records, just the usual paper files and notebooks. Most people come to us because we are convenient and right there on the street level. We’ve spent many years in this spot and we know the other shopkeepers nearby pretty well. It’s a very ordinary setup. We don't make big promises or use complicated words. We just open up the clinic every morning and help whoever walks across from the hospital or comes from the neighborhood. It’s a simple way to earn a living and help out our local community in our own small way.
