Dr Shendes Clinic

Dr Shendes Clinic is located at 1726 Sadashiv Peth, right across the street from S P College. If you know Pune, you know that Sadashiv Peth is one of the more traditional and busy areas of the city. Being opposite such a big college means there are always students and people around. The clinic is in an older building, which is typical for this part of town. The address, 1726, is clearly marked on the front. Inside, we have a small space where we see our patients. It’s a bit of a tight fit sometimes when there are many people waiting, but we manage. The atmosphere is like the rest of Sadashiv Peth—a bit old-fashioned and local. We have some wooden chairs for waiting and the doctor’s cabin is right there. Outside, you can hear the sounds of the city, the buses going to the college, and people talking. It’s a lively spot to be in. We’ve been at this location for many years, and we have seen the neighborhood change, though some things stay the same. It is an easy place to find because S P College is such a massive landmark. Most people tell their rickshaw driver to go to the college gate and they find us easily from there. It’s a simple, no-nonsense clinic that has been part of the local community for a long time. We do our work every day and help the folks who stop by.
