Dr Dy Patil Pharmacy College

Our college is located in Sant Tukaram Nagar, right near the YCM Hospital in Pimpri Chinchwad. It is a very busy area of Maharashtra because of the hospital and all the other businesses nearby. You can always hear the sirens and the sound of traffic from the main roads. The pharmacy college is a big building with lots of windows, and we have many floors dedicated to different labs and classrooms. Since we are so close to the hospital, it feels like a very medical environment all the time. Students are always rushing between their classes and the labs with their white coats on. We have been here for many years, and the campus has grown quite a bit over that time. The staff office is usually a mess of papers and schedules, especially when the new semester starts. We have a canteen where everyone goes to get tea and snacks during the breaks. It is a very urban setting, so there is not much green space, but there are plenty of places to sit in the corridors. The weather in Pimpri can be quite humid, so the building can feel a bit stuffy when it is crowded. We just go about our business, making sure the students have their chemicals and equipment ready for their experiments. It is a lot of work, but it is just the way things are in a busy city like this one.
