Dr. Anita Bafna - Jagtap Clinic

Dr. Anita Bafna - Jagtap Clinic is located back in Arun Society No.1. To get here, you have to go off Senapati Bapat Road and head behind the Chaturshringi Petrol Pump. It’s a bit of a quiet residential pocket compared to the main road. The address is 420/424, and it’s been our base for quite a while. I like being tucked away behind the petrol pump because the noise from the traffic isn’t as bad once you get inside the society gates. Most of the patients are regulars who have lived in this part of town for decades. We see a lot of families. The clinic isn't very large, just a couple of rooms where we handle everything. I usually start the day by checking the schedule and making sure the assistant has everything cleaned up. Sometimes the society gate is a bit tricky for new people to find, but once they do, they realize it’s actually a very peaceful spot. We have some plants out front that I try to keep alive, though the Pune sun can be tough on them. Inside, it’s just a normal medical office. We have the usual files, some old wooden chairs, and a desk that’s seen better days. It’s a comfortable place to work. We don’t do things in a fancy way. It’s just about sitting down with people and figuring out what’s wrong. It’s a steady, everyday kind of life here at Arun Society.
