Our office is located at 17 Raka Palace in Chinchwad, which is right across from the Elpro International gate. It’s a very industrial part of town, so we are surrounded by a lot of big factories and constant truck movement. Raka Palace is a familiar spot for most people around here. We deal with electrical supplies and equipment, so our space is often full of heavy-duty items and coils of wire. It’s not the most organized place in the world, to be honest. We have piles of ledgers on the tables and some old samples sitting in the corner gathering a bit of dust. Most of us have been working here for years, so we’ve seen the whole Chinchwad area change from mostly empty plots to what it is now. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person; we just talk to the people who walk in or call us. The afternoon sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard, so we usually keep the blinds down for a few hours. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, handle the orders, and maybe chat with the guys from the other units in the building during a break. It feels like a real community of workers in this area. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just us at Raka Palace doing the same steady work we’ve done for a long time.
