Armania Ceramic

Our place Armania Ceramic is out on the Kondwa Pisoli Road. We are pretty close to the Khadi Machine Chowk which is a landmark everyone around here knows. It is a very dusty part of town because of all the construction and the heavy trucks going back and forth all day. Our shop is full of ceramic tiles and bathroom fittings which means we are constantly cleaning off the layers of dust that settle on everything. It’s a lot of heavy lifting since tiles are quite fragile but also very heavy to move around. We don't have a big fancy team here. It’s just me and a few workers who help with the loading and unloading of the crates. Most of our customers are locals from the Kondwa area who are fixing up their bathrooms or building new kitchens. We don't really have a catalog or anything. We just show people what we have in the racks and let them decide. The Khadi Machine Chowk can be a real mess during rush hour so we usually try to get our big deliveries done very early in the morning before the traffic gets bad. It is a straightforward business and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just sell tiles and try to make sure we don't break too many in the process of moving them. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
