Deepak Steel Center

Deepak Steel Center is situated at number 210 on the PashanBaner Link Road. If you know the area, it’s a fairly easy spot to find because of all the metal outside. We deal in all kinds of steel items—pots, pans, plates, and the big containers people use for storage. The shop is full of shiny metal, so it actually gets quite bright when the sun hits the entrance in the morning. It can be quite noisy too, with the sound of metal clinking together whenever we move things around to find a specific size. The PashanBaner Link Road is always busy with cars and bikes, so there’s a constant hum of traffic outside our door. We’ve been here for several years now. It started small, and we just kept adding more stock until the walls were covered with racks. Sometimes it feels like we’re running out of room to even stand, but we manage to fit everything in. We don't have a big team of sales people or anything. Usually, it’s just me and a helper who comes in the afternoons. We spend a lot of our time unpacking wooden crates and making sure the steel doesn't get scratched up before it’s sold. People from the nearby colonies come in when they’re setting up a new kitchen or need a gift for a wedding. We don't have any big slogans or any marketing. We just sell steel. It’s a simple, honest business. The floor is a bit dusty from the road, but we try to keep the products clean and shiny.
