You can find De - Luxe Trading Company over at Tilak Road, specifically in Office Number 2 of the Mangalmurti Complex. Tilak Road is always busy, and the complex itself has a lot of different businesses coming and going. Our office is fairly small and straightforward. We’ve got a couple of desks, some old filing cabinets that probably need replacing, and a lot of paperwork. Being a trading company, there is always something being shipped or received, so there are usually crates or parcels sitting near the door. It’s the kind of place where the tea arrives twice a day from the vendor downstairs, and that’s when we usually take a five-minute break to talk about things other than work. The walls are a bit plain, and we haven’t really bothered with much decoration because we’re too busy keeping track of the inventory. The light in the complex can be a bit dim in the evenings, but we have our desk lamps. It’s a practical setup for a trading business. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a script. It’s just us, the people who have been running the show for years. We know most of our regular transporters by name, and they know exactly where to drop things off. It’s a bit cramped when a lot of stock comes in at once, but we manage to shift things around and make it work.
