De Rona Rohitra

De Rona Rohitra is located at Somwar Peth Sector 9 D 1. It’s a quiet enough spot in the sector, but Somwar Peth as a whole can get pretty crowded during the middle of the day. The shop itself is simple and we have been at this address for a good amount of time. I usually get here around 9:00 AM and start by opening the shutters and giving the front step a quick wash. There isn't much space inside, so everything has its specific place on the shelves or in the cupboards. Most of the people who come in are regulars from Sector 9 who know us by name. We spend the day handling various requests and sometimes it’s just a lot of paperwork or organizing the stock in the back. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to move everything out of the way to do it. It gets a little dark in the back corner of the shop, so I usually keep a desk lamp on even during the day. We take a lunch break when things get slow and usually just eat some home-cooked food while sitting near the door to catch whatever breeze comes through. It is not the kind of place you see in a magazine, but it works for us and the people who live nearby. We don’t do a lot of talking unless someone has a question about what we have in stock. It is just a regular shop in a regular neighborhood.
