Atlas Copco (India) Ltd.

We’re located in Sveanagar, right in the Dapodi area. Atlas Copco (India) Ltd. has been here for quite some time. It’s an old industrial part of town, so you see a lot of trucks and workers coming and going. The building is solid and has that classic factory feel to it. I walk past the main gate every morning and say hello to the security guard. Inside, it’s mostly about engineering and big equipment. There’s a lot of metal and the smell of oil sometimes. We have offices too, but the real work happens where the machines are. It’s a big site, so you end up doing a lot of walking between the different sections. Dapodi can get really crowded with traffic, especially near the railway station. We just try to get in early to beat the rush. The people working here are a mix of engineers and shop floor staff. We’ve got a canteen where everyone grabs a quick bite and some tea. It’s not a glamorous job, but it feels good to be part of something that’s been around for so long. We don't use much fancy talk. We just fix things and make sure the production stays on track. The walls have some old posters, and the desks are cluttered with parts and drawings. It’s just how an engineering place should be, really. We keep our heads down and work.
