Our office is in Jai Ganesh Vision, which is right near the Fame Multiplex in Akurdi. It is a good spot because people can find us easily after they get off at the Chinchwad Station. We are also quite close to the Khandoba Mandir, so it is a familiar area for most folks in this part of Pune. We spend our time helping people who are having trouble with their hearing. It is a quiet kind of work compared to the noise on the Mumbai Pune Road outside. We have been at 19 B for quite some time now. Usually, a person comes in because their family noticed they were turning the TV up too loud or they were missing parts of the conversation. We just sit down with them, check what is going on, and see if a hearing aid or some other service might help them out. It isn't a flashy place, just a regular office with the tools we need to do the testing. We see people of all ages, from young kids to grandparents. Sometimes it takes a few visits to get everything adjusted right, so we end up chatting a lot with our regulars. We do not really do big advertisements; people just find us because they live nearby or someone they know told them to come see us. We keep the doors open and try to be as helpful as we can to anyone who walks in. It is just us doing what we know how to do.
